Hell yeah is right! Just when I thought Nord should do a Wave 2.

Maybe has some evolver-esque background too. Should be most interesting. Looks great.

I wonder what kind of "instruments" the two instrument sources can be, that's a peculiar word choice.

Are you sure? To me it looks built into the Pro 2 chassis, but I didn’t study the video that closely.

Interesting, it is a Sequential product in a Prophet-12 case and definitely improved effects compared to the REV-2.

They do have a hybrid and 3 analogs in the mix. A sampler would make sense.

Actually there might be more than 2 OLED screens!

You can clearly see two on the first screenshot, and on the second the knob arrangement and screen dimensions do not seem to match either of these.

Oh well, we will know soon enough.

If this has a Pro2/P12/P8 style of modulation (ie lots) I could be very interested..

There is a stack button, so it most likely is at least bi-timbral.

A successor to the Pro-12? With a price tag to match? New flagship?

I can't tell but so far, that's what it looks like to me. Maybe it can use actual "samples" as well as wave tables as oscillator sources. I bet it has a crazy amount of modulation possibilities too. We'll just have to wait and see.

Also interested why the use of the Sequential name. Perhaps these are going to be prophet-6 oscillators after all.

I was just considering a bump up to Prophet-12 keyboard (from desktop) the other day; glad I waited.

And 8DIO is a serious sound-design library.

Yes, but it was a low resolution one anyway, so can't make out much.

Prophet 12 chassis, 3 screens, sample section visible, the patch loaded on the main one read "Prophet evolution".

Saw it, tried to grab a screen shot but it then just disappeared.

Perhaps it was not supposed to be shown.....
