I am 98% sure Morton Subotnik invented gated reverb on "Touch". It's the first time I ever heard a long decay spring reverb patched into a VCA opened with a super short ADSR. It certainly influenced me to put a kepex on an EMT 140.
But none of this is that rave, ambient, 4/4 kick drum ecstasy fueled rehashed disco techno bull****...so never mind, not important.
