I bought 2 Novation Launchkey controllers and I get a free copy of one of these XLN products for each keyboard so I can buy 2. Wondering if anyone has experience with them, which they recommend, and how they compare to other libraries on the market.

I just bought Soniccouture Hammersmith for my Grand Piano sounds, so how does the Studio Grand compare? Worth having both?

I was also planning on buying the sonnicouture EP73 Rhodes sample library. How does the XLN Mark One compare to that?

Thinking of going for the Modern Upright and either the Studio Grand or Mark One (whichever is less redundant considering the Soniccouture offerings)...not sure the Electric Grand is a sound I'd use in my productions, though what do you think of that one too?

I took the modern upright, its a very nice sounding piano...though intruth I have so many pianos I havent had much of a chance to play it. Did match up favourably with my Arturia upright. I think I have an NI upright too but was never that bothered by it.

Just compared the demo of the Studio Grand to the Hammersmith and the Hammersmith sounds way more realistic and I prefer it. I think I'll go for the Modern Upright and the Mark One.

I got the Mark One when I bought a launchpad pro, seriously nice. It's got a lot of editing options and sounds terrific, you won't be disappointed.

I'm having trouble deciding between the Studio Grand and the Modern upright.

I too received the 1 free virtual instrument through Focusrite.

I am thinking going with the upright, because I already have quite a few grand piano VSTs, but I keep reading reviews suggesting the Studio Grand.

FWIW: I had a free Addictive Keys with my Impulse controller. I got the Studio grand but I don't really like it, doesn't quite hit the mark for me. On the other hand I got another freebie Addictive Keys with my interface later on, picked the Mark One and couldn't be happier with it -- sounds really great.

I kinda rushed my decision on the piano and in retrospect I think I should have gone for the upright.

No love for the CP80 here? How strange, by far my favourite out of those 4.

I chose the electric grand I have so many other grand piano and upright libraries that I thought it was a great addition to enhance the keys I already have. My favorite og grand being Waves' Rhapsody.

There aren't many CP80 sample libraries so I would pick that .

Addictive keys has some advantages: small size, loads fast and has various mics positions unlike other stuff in that price range. But it doesn't sound so detailed.

I have all. The upright is really nice. unique sound and so intimate. The cp80 is nice too with a wide preset range. The grand is standard, maybe even boring. And the mark one can be skipped, if you already own a rhodes that you like.

Bit of a resurrection on this.

I think I am gonna grab the electric grand as my novation freebie even though the studio grand is pretty great too.
