its a Boutique so its priced/function below the Aria line, might not even be on par with the TR-8 sound set and all of its capabilities.
Sounds like the TR-09 hype is micro-timing, which for a 909 soundset is kind of weird right? I mean its not like wild sounds from the Syncussion SY-1 that cover all sorts of tones and decays that would be interesting to harness into micro timing events.
Nice of them to incorporate the TR-606 ability to switch between write and play modes while the sequencer is running.
Not sure if they will allow the TR-09 to run other gear via midi / note#s, and if they do is it possible to edit the midi channel per drum and set different note#'s like on the TR-626 that totally rocks in the MIDI world.
