Desk space running out. This current setup is hardware synth biased. No treated room until next house.
Clarett 8pre, PC running Cubase & live10 (not using live much anymore).
Synth / used for:
Novation Peak (rack mounted!) / Every possible application I can fit it into.
OB6 - / Every possible application I can fit it into.
Deepmind 12 / - sound design, fun, jamming, midi keyboard control
Roland TR8s (mostly using own samples)/ cowbell sequencing
Yamaha MX88 (must have weighted hammer action in my life) / song writting, practice.
I took inspiration from Tokyo. When space is running out, adapt; work vertically.
The side effect of working vertically with desktop synths; it ends up looking a little bit like a 1950's telephone operator station, or perhaps some villain's control console from a campy spy movie.
Now it just needs some oversided modular synth up on a shelf, flush above the monitors.
