Cleaner AND Lubricant For Trs Patchbay?
I'm having to add a 4th trs patchbay to my control room. Yes, I wish I'd have just spent the big bucks and went with the tt bays 15 years ago, but I digress... I currently use 2 Neutrik, and 1 ART bay. I love the ease of connectivity with the ART patchbay, but I have to have another one that'll do "non normalled", and the ART will not, the Neutrik NYS-SPP-L1 ones will.
I really don't wanna have to spend a lot more for another patchbay, as my control room upgrade is already over budget. I've used the 2 Neutrik's for around 12 to 15 years now, without issue. However, I've always hated how difficult they are to plug in cables.
Which leads me to my question: Has anyone ever used the product "Deoxit Fader 5" by Caig Laboratories to spray into a patchbay? I've used standard non residue cleaner, and it seems to help with making plugging in and out easier, but only for a limited time.
Thanks
