Hey all, I was just given a 100' Seismic Audio 24ch snake/stagebox which I wanted to trim into a 40' stagebox and a 40' 24ch-24ch snake.

My only experience to date was with nice mogami snake cable where each channel had its own rubber sleeve - well, this SA cable does not - just some metallic shielding around each channel - is there a way to get a 2' section of cable jacket to go around each channel which I would then affix using shrink wrap near the main cable or is this cable really that bad to work with (I may know the answer to that already... )?
