I am looking for a producer with some experience to explore long-term ventures.
About me:
Fair amount of live and recorded experience including Mel Bay Books best-seller CD insert (mix/master) and live mix for Bucky Pizzarelli. Currently back in school fro Electrical Engineering. First off-Broadway theatrical SD gig coming in March. Strong grasp of basic music industry principles, including marketing and business planning.
I am looking for someone with:
-Some studio recording experience. If you don't know what happens in a recording studio, probably not for you.
-Some level of interpersonal communication skills, optimally some management experience (music industry or otherwise). If you are a dedicated introvert or you absolutely hate telling people what to do, probably not for you.
-Some level of composition/music theory. Reading sheet is a big plus, but you can compensate for lack thereof. Likewise playing an instrument. If you think a producer is someone who makes beats in Fruity Loops or Reason, probably not for you. On the other hand if you know who Paul Buckmaster is (or can use Google and draw conclusions

) you may be the Guy or Gal.
I have a few business ideas that I would be happy to share with the right person. In the long term, I am looking for a business partner who will help me accomplish things that I cannot do on my own. The navy SEALS train as a team so they can accomplish things that no individual can achieve by himself. There's a lesson there.
If you're interested, PM or email (donovandigital at gmail) with a phone # and a good time to call.
Looking forward to hearing from anyone with a serious interest
