Problem regarding mic

So I have my XENYX Q502USB connected to my pc and I have my mic and my speakers routed to the mixer. It works fine when recording bass and guitar, but when I need my mic for voice calls and for in-DAW experiments the mic has this drone-like noise and my voice is extremely low even when speaking right next to it example below.

The Gain and Level are set to 0, the same as every other parameter. No point in giving it more gain because it only gets worse. How do I fix this?

What kind of mic, dynamic or condenser? If condenser, did you engage the phantom power?

It's a Behringer C-1, condenser and yes I have Phantom on.

If your mic is routed to your speakers while you are recording, you have a potential feedback loop. Turn your speakers off, record again and see if you have the same problem. Also, with the speakers turned off, you should be able to turn up your mic level.

Still have the problem even when I disconnect the speakers from the mixer.

Next level: exactly what mic? What kind of recording space? Are you processing the mic in any way? If so, exactly what processing.

“My room” doesn’t give much information. You could live in an oil tank for all I know. Some dimensions, furnishings, wall construction...
How far from the mic were you when you made the clip?
If you don’t want to give more information, you are only going to get nonsense answers or no answers.

No clue about dimensions, i have a wardrobe, a bed, two bed-side tables and a cupboard for clothes, my desk and an electric piano. My mouth was right next to the mic.

Clues will come from standard measuring devices. Length, width, height. I prefer feet, but can translate metric. If dimensions weren’t important, I wouldn’t ask.

Well that throws a wrench in this whole thing, I have no clue where my parents have their tape measure.

Back off the mic about 10 inch's, use/try some EQ and Compression in your DAW. mess with it a little, you'll get it figured out.

I'll say this much, with my previous audio interface the mic worked perfectly, so it's not the space.

+/- 3 meters high, 3 meters wide, 4.5 meters long. This is an estimate, don't know the exact proportions.

Heres one for ya. Their was a dude with an 4 year old issue that resurfaced, and he got bent out of shape, because people wouldn't go back and read the hole 4 year thread.

An apology for what exactly? I said that phrase normally, and it would do him no harm to read beforehand, I'm not apologizing for something I didn't do wrong, much less when HE is the one giving me attitude.

Nevermind, someone else helped me, the mixer's Phantom Power doesn't have enough voltage for the mic to work correctly.
