I think there are a few simple ways to figure out what Logic does/how it does things:
β’ Press Option K and search for relevant words in the key command list.
β’ Save the manual as a pdf and place it in the dock - pdf's are searchable too...
β’ Control- or Right-click in the relevant area in Logic to look for relevant contextual menus - there are lots of them.
β’ Try a few relevant words in the search field in the Help menu. This will often result in an animated arrow pointing at a menu item containing the word you search for.
With those simple tricks, the need to read the manual is drastically reduced.

I think that in many (but not all) cases, things that already can be done in, say, one second or less in Logic shouldn't have high priority compared with the areas which (according to me! :-) ) certainly need improvement... OTOH, since there obviously are loads of people on this forum who assume that Logic can't do X if it isn't implemented exactly the same way as the other DAW they use - this could possibly be addressed by Apple as well. Not by trying to implement all features in all possible ways, but by doing some other simply things which would make it easier to find out how Logic actually does things.
