Sennheiser ME66 or MKE 600 for Documentary?

Hello,

I am currently on a documentary production and was wondering what these two microphones are good for in terms of location and situation wise. I have never used these mics before as I'm used to using the 416 but it seems like the company I am currently working for already has the ME66 and the MKE600 and want me to use them. Can I get some opinions as whether I should use one over the other or maybe use them both for different purposes? There will definitely be outdoor shooting and indoor shooting as well as interviews.

Tell them to use the "really cheap camera" instead of a better one and then rent them your 416 for a reasonable amount, let's say $150 for every two weeks or $20/day.

You (and they) will be much happier with the MKH416.

The 66 is really harsh sounding, try to avoid it if you can.
