This company is not touted much in the US sound engineering circles but is one of the standards in the film world and in the audio world. They are expensive but the four channel mixer/8 channel recorder will probably be one of the best combos out there; I have used their pres/mixers and have used their stand alone 8 channel recorder on which this machine is based ... if you just wanted a mixer then please ignore this post.

PS: The rest of the location slutz out there should cast an eye on the SX62. I am hoping to get one to replace almost all my location gear ...
I am just looking for a mixer, but that SX-62R does look pretty great. Out of my price range for the moment, but I have a new subject for my wet dreams.
I think I'm just biting the bullet and going with the 302. I'm only have 2 channels to record to at the moment, so a 3 channel mixer should do what I want for a while, and the 302 does pretty much exactly what I want it to, how I want it to, and I like how it sounds, so I might as well just bite the bullet and plunk down the change.
