Glue to repair cracked Rycote windshield

Hello,

A student of mine got a Rycote windshield crushed and happily only the end caps have now a few cracks at the junction rings with the main part. I would like to fix that but I don't know which type of glue to use. I think the material is nylon.

Any recommendation?

I just used "Crazy Glue", as little as possible, and clamped the pieces together for a long dry. Seems to have worked?

Faller 170490 Super Expert and Faller 170492 Expert plastic glue dissolves a bit of the plastic and forms an entire new molecular connection. It's typically what I use for this type of repairs.

Depends on the age; earlier models were made of ABS; currently they're made of Hytrel.

For ABS, just use (carefully) standard solvent adhesives used in plumbing.

For Hytrel (thermoplastic elastomer), here are Loctite's recommended glues:
