Has anyone tried or using Gadget 2 with Ableton Live?

I’m using M1 Macbook Pro and can’t figure out why I’m not seeing Gadget 2’s gadgets in VST list. Only in AU list…

The likely answer is that the Korg Gadget you have (You're not saying which version) is not Apple Silicon native, which would explain why you see only AU, which can rely on the AU Hosting Compatibility Service and run Intel plug-ins.

Another answer, applicable if Gadget 2 is indeed AS-native, could be you need to do a deep rescan of your plug-ins. See VST/AU plug-in doesn't appear in Live's Browser (Ableton Help)

Korg Gadget 2 latest version with all of the apps gadgets. Just bought it.

The Gadget VSTs are Apple Silicon Native, so there should be no problems there. They are, however, VST2 instead of VST3. Have you enabled VST2 plugins in Ableton?

Yes. And already got support from Korg via email and they informed to point a Custom folder for VST2 in Ableton and rescan (option key held down), but still no help.

I read that Rosetta might show these problematic VSTs and yes, these Korg Gadgets showed on VST lst!!!

Now the problem is that is Korg Gadget VSTs not compatible with Ventura running with M1?

Rosetta2 has no support for intel-only VSTs in Ableton Live, so I'm not sure how that's supposed to work. If it's Universal then Live would load the plug-in as AS-native.

Have you verified latest versions and used ArchiChect as suggested (to be certain you have a Universal version installed)? Also have you looked into all of your VST folders to make sure you don't have multiple installed?

Why would one have to use a custom folder? That makes no sense at all. Holiday support?
