Hello,

i am new here and wanted to ask for advice. I am not new to mixing, have been refining what i do for a couple of years with the main focus on track selection and storry building through them. I haven't performed in any club yet, however i've played at some private parties.

At the moment i am trying to find gigs to perform live in a club. However i've received a mixed feedback from a local DJ about my mix and i am not sure if it's not up to the standard.

As for my vision, i like to tell a certain story in any of my mixes and go fo different (house) genres, blending them together to build a vibe and feel progression throughout the mix. And as of now i am not sure where/how to improve.

I'd really appreciate if some of you listen into any of my mixes and let me know what you think and give me some constructive feedback.

I'll share a link to my Mixcloud page. If you want to check out the storytelling mixes, go for the "Act"s, they are the most intensive story-wise, however need some time to build up. If you want to get into the action go for "Alchemist's Proof" or "Alure". And "Calm Ur Nips" if you want smthng on the deep house side.

I’m not listening to the mix - what is it that you feel you need to improve - you DJ - People Dance - Under Influences or not- no one cares how it goes - only that it follows some kind of pattern that brings you up and chills out and then brings you up again.

What did they say about your mix?

I listened to the 1st one for a bit, seems normal enough.
