well the new F1 season has started, and i decided to update mixes of my 'F1 Trilogy', the first of three, with the song 'Silverstone', which is the about the british grand prix.

this is a completely new mix from scratch.
i'm trying to create imagery of intense high speed car racing with the mix.
tell me i did ok!! LOL

When I click the play button, on both FF and Chrome, the song does not start.
Maybe the Safety car joined

yes, you are getting the vibe..

you know, when the start happens at these races, it takes a while to get up to speed, because usually they're hauling @ss right into a turn, and immediately have to brake...

but the engines are still roaring..
thats why the 'slow burn' is part of the race turned into song.

now this particular race i patterned the song arrangment after, was a super wet affair, and there were lots of danger and slow moves being taken, yet the intensity level was still high.

it would have been simple to just play a bunch of sh!t fast, but that wasn't really the way the Silverstone grand prix was that year.

there are two other companion songs with the F1 Trilogy, all formula one themed.

when i first got my strymon iridium, i was coming off of 40'ish years of playing thru tube amps and big cabs, then smaller cabs, so going with a modeler was a big change for me, but the iridium is so simple, i kinda got hooked quick. i did an entire album with only the iridium when i first got it ("Elemental", on bandcamp) and i used it entirely for the 'F1 Trilogy'.
