Some cool ideas here and there. Mostly the usuall stuff i'd expect to hear in this genre.
But super repetative, which may not be a bad thing depending on the application.
But a change of pace somewhere in there would have been nice. That constant quarter note stab gets to be grating after about a minute,
let alone 5 minutes.
I really think the mixing aspect in this genre is very important. Even if you dont have genius, groundbreaking themes and melodies, you have
the device of the mix itself sounding huge and amazing sonically. Lots of size, power, dynamics, etc. There are amazing sample libraries out there
so there's not much excuse for things not to sound amazing. This track sounds like it never really gets off the ground. The piano seems too loud and forward
versus the rest of the orchestra. There are lots of other balance problems as well. It sounds loud, but it doesnt sound big or expansive like its supposed to.
