Hi Everyone!

This is my first post here, so apologies if this is the wrong place for this.

I have been running a studio in NYC for the last 7 years, and I’ve found myself in the position of needing to move on. It was a very extensive build, and is fully operational and loaded with gear. Right now I have 2 options, either tearing the entire place down or finding someone to take it over. I’m hoping I can do the latter.

Does anyone have any advice on where to advertise this kind of thing? I am very open to how to proceed logistically, but the bottom line is that I need someone to take over the lease. I am willing to either sell the gear along with it, or just take all of it and sell it myself. I’m essentially offering what was an extremely expensive build out for the cost of operating the space (rent, basically).

The studio is GSI Studios in Manhattan, feel free to look it up. Any advice or interest is welcome.

it's a nice studio by Joe Salvatto (who has a whole bunch of nice studios to his portfolio!). sorry you need to move on. maybe reach out to Joe and see if he has any interested clients. also an ad on this site as well as in something like Mix magazine as this is pretty high end.

Maybe Tape Op magazine, the acoustics group on Facebook.

Couldn’t hurt to reach out to other NYC engineers or A&Rs you might know as well.
