Just bought some Knauf R11 Batts of Fiberglass to make some acoustic panels.Doubting its Condition
I’m not adept in acoustic room treatment or fiberglass but I’ve done my research to try and build my own acoustic panels as the country I live in does not have any readily available. Fiberglass was the only effective material available where I live, with only one retailer for a decent price. I opened the packaging today and expected the fiberglass to fold out like I’ve seen on the manufacturers YouTube channel but that wasn’t the case. It wasn’t as rigid as I thought it would be so I ended up stapling the edges of the insulation to the frame. It looks a bit off color also but I’m not sure if that is how it is supposed to be or if the quality isn’t good. I have a picture of the panel I stuffed. Not currently at the wood shop where I left them so if another picture is needed I can send tomorrow. Please take a look and give ur opinions please.
