You need a purpose built material, and fairly precisely designed floor assembly to get any benefits from floating. This typically entails a floating concrete slab on spring type jacks with a filling in between the gap.
Regular rubber, gym mats, appliance mounting rubber, ect are not suitable for studios.
If your floor is not very massive ie several inches on concrete minimum, floating will not work.
