[QUOTE]Mid-wall better or can I even leave them standing on the floor in corners and back wall?/QUOTE]
You can just leave them on the floor. Low end is going to build up in the whole cover.
[QUOTE]4" panels:
- 1 in 3 corners (4th I can 't do anything as it's the door to room)
- 2 along back wall which will be same height as corner mid-wall of 8 ft ceiling)
- 1 above me on ceiling/QUOTE]
That might be a good start but plan on putting more trapping in more corners and perhaps thicker (and more) on the back wall. Not to over simplify, but basically the more corners you put in corners the better the low end response will be in the room.
