Cubase has stopped working

This should be fixable, I just do not know how to fix it..

My problem is, that every time I open a certain project in Cubase, it crashes with the windows message "Cubase has stopped working" on loading a perticular .aif file.

I have tried to delete the file that makes Cubase crash from the file directory, but without any luck..

Any light shedding would be awesome..

Hello Jalle,

We are going to need a little bit more information.
What version of Cubase are you using?
What are your system specs: Operating system, Ram, CPU etc...

Do you have any other third party plug-ins installed, audio interface?

Did you try bak file? rename the latest .bak to .cpr and open it.

Solved it by opening the project on another computer and deleting the tracks that caused the crash from the batch thingy. The crash was caused from corrupt aif files!
