Do not want to "retool" .. the assembly line is set for too many year

This is a poignant thread for me and my current situation. I opened a studio in 1997 and was successful on a local level. Unfortunately I have a disability that became unmanageable and I had to close down. I've been away from the studio business for about 12 years. Things are much better for me now. I ended up being a social worker helping people in a similar situation. I've been thinking of getting back in part time now. I'm even considering building a building on the property I own so I can record drums again. I've done a few projects and I'm getting proficient in Logic. I'm hopeful.
