AES inputs - accept an use the external (incoming) wordclock as 'master', or is that re-done?
As I understand it some converters can re-do incoming wordclock
On the AES inputs of the new HEDD type 2's does the incoming AES wordclock act as clock master - or is the incoming clock somehow re-done or reclocked?
Concerning the AES entering the board (the processing chain), the master is the DSP so the AES clock is locally regenerated.
The thru is instead the same AES signal coming from the source. In fact the thru is working even when the board is switched off.
