I love mine oh so much.
Great for quick ideas all the way to full-on tracking, ready to be exported through the usb.
I fill up tracks 1-5/6 first (so, 5 mono tracks), then bounce everything to track 7/8.
Then, free up 1-5/6 by moving to fresh v-tracks and start all over.
It starts to get confusing but the next bounce would all go to 5/6...then free up tracks 1-4 and 7/8.
What really helps is at the end of the manual there is a spreadsheet (i just print a bunch of pages from the online pdf) to help manage all those v-tracks. Really helps when you're exporting wav. through usb.
I'm rambling but this device actually taught me how to record without punching in and copy/paste,(while it has all of that but sort of a pain to use) all while getting accustomed to the built-in click track.
Now that I'm all invested in my DAW/preamps/compressors/mics etc. I'm re-tracking everything with so much more brilliance etc. while constantly referencing the BR-600.
Such a boss.
