I have pretty much finished this studio. I ended up going with more of an open concept with the control room as part of the studio. Not the best design but it's my little slice of heaven. We do mostly live recordings and generally have a good time. I formed a band pretty much right after I started this thread. My focus has been more about the band and writing music than building the perfect studio. I will get some good pictures uploaded as soon as I can get this place cleaned up from building some isolation boxes. Cheers to whoever is still around that might be following this thread.
