I originally created Splitt for a mastering project where I needed a linear-phase spectrum splitter to dial in separate settings for the low and high end. I thought it would be a one-off – something I’d use once and then forget about.

But it turned out to be way more useful than I expected, and I keep coming back to it. I shared it for free, and the number of downloads and positive comments made it clear I wasn’t the only one finding it helpful.

Recently, a user requested a signed and notarized AU version. That felt like a good excuse to give Splitt its own post – and update it while I was at it.

🎥 Quick video overview:

What it does:
Splitt cleanly separates the low and high bands of your signal using a linear-phase crossover. You can route each band to its own output for further processing – whatever that may be. The slope can be set extremely steep for tight band separation.

Changelog (v1.00 → v2.00):
  • Added bypass buttons
  • Added gain knobs for each band
  • Minor bug-fixes

Available formats:[LIST] Windows – VST3
  • macOS – VST3 & AU (AU version is signed + notarized)
