SKnote announces Strip v.3 (StripBus) - Console "whole modeling"
by quintosardo
13th November 2014

Strip gets new console models, including a nice "British" character and emphasis mode aligned to our Agata micro-console, and a full-featured channel strip set of controls, including a "balancing" dynamic equaliser, a multi-mode compressor, a new expander (which adds more options for dynamic control, like easy upward compression), aligning to our announced hardware tracking/mixing console "Etna".
New features:
- New console models (British Trafos, Emphasized)
- "Whole modeling" (instances manage a whole analog model of the console)
- Full channel strip
- Multi-mode compressor (snap, smooth, old mode)
- Expander
- Dynamic equalizer
- Stereo aligned saturation option (AES E-brief link)
- Multi-mode metering
- Gain fader for independent mix automation
Strip is the only audio plugin which effectively models the whole system, with all instances interacting in background, and actually influences the digital summing in the DAW.
Six ducking busses are extremely useful to add interaction between tracks and glue the mix.
Optional inter-tracks crosstalk adds still more analog-style flavor.
Currently in distribution for beta testing, to be released nov 2014.
If you are an user, don't send a request. It is slowly going to everybody.
A free update for existing owners until v.3 release.
After v.3 release, new StripBus price will be: 39.99$
