The H44s takes the audio quality and durability of our patent-pending capsule and ribbon design and makes them available to those looking for a symmetrical response for specific recording situations such as mid-side, Blumlein, or recording between two opposing sources.
ALDER AUDIO is a small U.S. based microphone startup with an aim to offer innovative, durable, high-end ribbon mics within the budgets of working musicians and engineers.

Oh man, I have over 35 ribbon mics, most are restored RCA ribbons. But I just discovered this mic today. Very intriguing! Wow, you need a stereo version! Stacked like an AEA, Extinct Audio ribbons, like a Neumann SM69, except ribbon!
