I need to be more concise with my wording, I guess (I'm still getting used to talking about my plugin in depth). I did SPICE simulations for the whole analog in/out and analyzed the frequency responses of the individual filter stages. Once I had the filter parameters figured out I implemented them as digital filters. I'm using the term "modeling" rather broadly in that case and it's not intended to be something like a component based analog model. Most of the filters are static first/second order filters and there's no need to make the dsp more complicated imo. The most interesting part are the elliptic anti-aliasing filters at 15 kHz, which have very distinct ripple. I pre-calculated matching filter coefficients to get as close to the pass- & stop-band ripple as possible.
No problem, I mix with my ears anyway so if I want more grit/distortion (not necessarily being true to the hardware) then I've got plenty of plugins with which to do that!
I bought your plugin, by the way. Not had time for a deep dive yet, but it's sounding great so far.
