The OBX in fact , you can hide de fx panel witch simplifies 1/3 of the interface .
The key element on the OBX is color and space bewteen controls .... they have room in that aspect and i think need to make a small update in that ... for exemple here in this pic
You see that a darker back ground and a simple color diff for extra things (like arpegg ect ..) clarrifies sections (anlyise knobs space ect ... it's just a question of Ratio for gforce imho)

On the gforce you see the section arpegg / midi / voices ect shouldn't be taking this spot , keyboard is useless also but even like that it's smoother than opx by miles imho

I'm actually surprised G-Force hasn't put out an update with a darker shade of blue yet. It was feedback a LOT of people had and shared with them and they basically told me in an email they had a darker version at some point and changed it to the current state.

Give time some time , personally i mapped everything to my minilogue Xd , and it's a pure pleasure ....i'm actually testing bitwig for non linear production but the headache i have with mammping more than 8 knobs isn't worth i guess the gain of clip based things ....

Interestingly the OP-X Pro sounds quite different, from a quality point of view I prefer the OP-X OBX bank, but from an accuracy point of view the Gforce ones are pretty much bang on.

Have they improved the reverb in OP-X Pro III? The one in Pro II is ok. Coloring, but not a color that I usually use (its delay is pretty nice though)

Also listened to a Synapse Obsession video, but that was probably the furthest away of them all. Sounded somewhere in the middle between Halion/Massive and a real Oberheim.

Well keep in mind Obsession emulates the OB-Xa, which is a completely different synth than the OB-X. The OB-Xa is based on Curtis chips so it has less of that early Oberheim 1970's character. I always thought it was an odd choice of them to pick the OB-Xa over the OB-X since the OB-X is generally viewed as more desirable.

I ended up buying the GForce version during the sale, almost in a fit of rage after re-reading the manual for OP-X Pro 3 yet again because I couldn't remember what some of those unlabeled buttons do. It's so frustrating because the synth sounds really good. Would it have been so hard for them to implement popup descriptions or actual labels? Not sure which one I prefer sonically yet, but I can program the GForce version without constantly re-reading the manual which makes a huge difference.

Right, but if you have an OB-Xa in front of you you can model, and you don't have, and can't afford to obtain, an OB-X, the choice of what to model is a bit more clear cut...
