Sadly for some reason Brave browser refuses to open the file after downloading, claims "virus detected". I downloaded with Firefox, and now Windows says "Windows cannot open the folder. Access to the Compressed (zipped) Folder is denied."

Please have a look at this, I try to investigate later if there's a problem in my end.

Just tried here:
Starting the setup within the zip file gave us a defender warning.
Unpacking to download folder and then starting the setup worked normal.
Maybe something with MS security?

hi there, love dseq, the one thing i wish for would be an option for it to be level independant
the adaptive threshold doesn't exactly do that at the moment
I mean to look at the relationship of all frequencies and what frequencies i chose to cut relative to the overall frequencies and then apply that relative to the level
Is there something to be done like that?

basically it looking at the whole signal and reducing it relatively no matter if the signal is loud or quiet, the ratio stays the same

This would be useful for example for deresonating vocals that have different amplitude. for example let's say in the 500hz is too prominent, adjusting the threshold for one word that is quiet and another that is loud will result in a different amount of gain reduction because it depends on the level, whereas if it's independant it would reduce it by the same ratio

After looking at what you are trying to achieve, I would say that you should play with the ‘Perceptual Loudness Matching’ option (AB-LM lite) of DSEQ. In any case, DSEQ is not a traditional EQ with frequency cuts and boosts. DSEQ's pre-filter makes frequency ranges more or less prominent for the threshold.

No what i mean is that if DSEQ looks at the wideband level relative to the frequency range selected and reduces it relatively to the wideband it would be level independant and a lot easier to tune and not overuse
For example lets say there a vocal note that is loud and has a some nasty frequencies around 2k
and a quieter note that has relatively to the loud note more energy in those nasty frequencies around 2k but overall is quieter DSEQ will reduce too much on the louder note and not enough on the quieter note.
That would be a total gamechanger for stable vocal deresonating
