Shreddage 3 Fretless: Next-gen virtual bass, now available

We're pleased to announce the release of Shreddage 3 Fretless, a gorgeous 5-string electric bass that perfectly captures the iconic 'mwah' sound made famous by countless fretless bass players. Its mellow, sonorous tone is capable of beautiful leads and solid bass parts alike, making it one of the most versatile bass instruments available.
S3 Fretless was recorded by esteemed multi-instrumentalist George "Norg" Nowik using three channels: DI, plus two mics on a real amp (the first time we've ever provided live amp channels as a signal option!) Naturally, we've also captured all key articulations precisely, including lots of detailed noises and even per-finger RRs.
The result is a wonderfully-playable bass that excels at jazz, blues, fusion, and new age music, but is equally at home as either a bass OR a lead in any number of genres.

Sampled at 24bit / 48kHz, up to 3x dynamics and 4x RR per note!
Shreddage 3 Fretless marks the debut of our improved Shreddage 3.5 engine, offering better playability, a cleaner UI, and easier articulation mapping than ever before.
You can now switch "Performance Styles" right from the main UI - for example, standard bass playing or virtuosic soloing - without worrying about things like hand position, fret position, or other aspects of the algorithm. There's also a new "Keyboard Mode" which makes the instrument as responsive & consistent as a premium workstation. Every MIDI note gets pre-assigned to a specific 'fret' / string so you'll always get the same sound on any given MIDI note, with no limits on polyphony or articulation.
The new Articulations tab is based on our "Total Articulation Control Technology" (TACT) 3.0 system debuted in Tokyo Scoring Strings, allowing you to more easily visualize and adjust mapping and tweaks for every articulation.
We've also consolidated and cleaned up many UI controls, reducing the number of tabs and presenting a better "out-of-the-box" experience particularly for users who aren't as interested in advanced tweaking controls... of course, those still exist, too!
