Trying disabling your motherboard soundcard via BIOS and see what happens and then putting Babyface as primary sound device in Windows. Also, a lot of people forget about TotalMix software, you need to setup your outputs there as well.

Any chance to try it on another PC? Like on a friend's of yours or so? Just to see if the unit itself or the usb cable isn't broken.

Thereβs no chance that both usb-a and usb-c is broken at the same time iβve tried both on all ports unfortunately there isnβt a second a pc to test and iβm 100% sure that my pc is in full working order i keep things in check

Yes 1246 driver installed everything that was availabe on rmeβs website for the babyface fs. Flash updater does nothing apart from showing version numbers after launching the exe with admin permissionsβ¦ it literally does nothing

right so now my pc can recognise the device after literally plugging my pc out the wall socket... managed to use the flash updater updated to 320 and there's still no sound coming out of the device (headphones) checked totalmix routing (full mode) then windows device manager properties and found that : Jack 'no jack information is available' is that normal ? Totalmix and the babyface is getting signal shown on the meter all faders set to 0 dB ofc... checked the routing is also fine. any ideas ? i'm about to go insane
