I must say, I use Mu for a way different purpose (really like it on backing vocals :D ), and your workflow idea translates to that wonderfully as well, so thank you again.

The input gain + shift move is the most straight forward way I've experienced to make sense of how this thing is grabbing, and from there it's way easier to do everything else. I used to start with the threshold/attack/release (as in most comps), and that is just chaotic in comparison to your way because you inevitably end up having to mess around with gain and output to make it work.

You just brought a lot of value to this plugin to me again, I'm definitely trying it on more than backings like this.

I bought this a while back and just started using it again, its great but there's a few oversights in controller use.

The link switches don't work when I map the plug in to any hardware controller (currently nektar panorama p4) which makes it unusable for stereo or anything else linked in this regard.

I.e When I move a controller knob with plug in set to link: only Threshold R moves, it is the same with Attack and Output, and the comp/limit switches as well. Release also behaves weirdly in that it doesn't snap to the values on the GUI and you end up with the knob reading between two settings.

Also it would be good to re-label all the parameters that start with the word sidechain, the other way round.

i.e Sidechain EQ HPF Freq becomes HPF Freq Sidechain EQ
Sidechain Source becomes Source Sidechain.

The reason being most controller screens only have about 12 or so digits in their readout, so after being mapped all the knobs just say Sidechain EQ, which makes it hard to know what's what. see image linked below.

Please fix this behaviour, none of the other plugins I use or test do this. Controlling compressors from a controller is way more intuitive and feels way more like hardware.
