This. It does not say so explicitly on the website. However, Quinto is a champion for AAX DSP. One of few still standing, so I would think so.

Yes, we'll get the DSP version out, too. It was an existing project so adding DSP wasn't as easy as developing for all formats at once, for us, but we are getting it done

OK. Do you have any guess when you will get round to doing the DSP version?

It is quite a complex tool so the optimisation part of the development (to make as many instances as possible fit in a single DSP chip, so precious in smaller systems like Venue S3) could be a one shot thing or need some attempts.
I'm trying to get SDC in its AAX-DSP version usable within next June.

Here we go with a new, simple video about mastering with SDC.

I used SDC on a rock mix which includes Drums, Bass, Guitars.

Note that this is a mastering test, so the stereo mix was alread with its target sound and compression on the master bus and the goal was to enhance without changing the sound.

Both Opto and Discrete sections are engaged.

Opto is set to Modern for slightly faster time constants. It gives "body". It corresponds to our fastest custom electroluminescent panels and LDR (which sense the light from the panel and add their time constants).

Discrete is set to a relatively slow Attack time (to add "snap") and the fastest Release time (to get the highest perceived volume). I set Discrete Ratio to mid-low to reduce pumping. Dual mode is used here, to get stereo width instead of preserving the stereo image. No Dry-Mix used here (I personally always prefer not to use it).

All the transformer models are switched here, for comparison. To better hear their contribute, focus on the low frequency range of the mix.

Everything in this mix is our MotorTown, Deluxe1 and TwinR guitar amps, PedalBench pedals.

Note: sidechain hi-pass filter is engaged at the end, to get a rounder low end.

Well, looks like the few reports about bugs in AAX version were all related to an incomplete install. Great news :D

The only thing we have to fix is the bypass button. Replacing the files online.

Do you want more emulations while we are updating existing products? Simply spread the word. More attention, more strength.

If only you would respond to what happens to R200 development..

As far as future products, Hiwatt DR103 amp is def a favorite. Easily top three amp ever produced.

Always down for new toys but please get the line up in aax land (plus getting the updates to percolate and verbtone )
