Hello everyone. I have a Roland Octa-Capture and it includes Control Panel software for controlling its settings. It has the typical faders etc on the screen. Do any of you use this, and if so, is it possible to control it with a MIDI controller such as a Korg NanoKONTROL? It is kind of a pain if I want to use it as a mixer at practice having to use a mouse.

I have an Octa-Capture and a Korg NanoKontrol. I don't see any way of doing that. I also have a Behringer X-Touch (using Mackie emulation) and I don't see any way with that either.

I made an account just to respond to this thread in the hopes of expanding it.
As of now, december 2023 The Roland octacapture remains as one of the best interfaces i've used, and its my everyday go to for recording, and for inear monitoring sub mix, and backtrack player!
it has been on my everchanging band rack for years, and it seems like its going to stay years further.
Many digital mixers or interfaces that do the same as this one are just way overpriced, or take like 3u spaces in a rack, so its a nope for those, and a yes for the octacapture. It has definetely proved to be a keeper for me.

I have tried just to little to control it via midi (even thoug my rack is heavily midi programed along pedals and DAW commands), so if anyone finds a way to control it it would be highly appreciated.
