Does anyone knows if the rosetta puts signal thru SPDIF AND Lightpipe at the same time?

Yes, there's a coaxial S/PDIF out as well as an optical out which is switchable between S/PDIF and ADAT formats. You also get AES/EBU and TDIF outs, and everything is always active.

Indeed all outputs mirror the analog inputs. Also if you set the Optical out to Adat form the two channels will be spread out across all 8 outputs in the adat form...

Mike and Opus, thank you very much for your replies. I have another question that maybe you guys can help me out.
My setup right now is:
Digi 001 + Korg 880 A/D
I want to get the Rosetta and a nice pair of pres to set up a "little" in quality
But there is one problem. The Korg (8ch A/D via lightpipe) is 48K fixed... and I want to record mostly at 44.1K, so I was thinking about this solution (and maybe you guys can tell me if it´s going to work):
Using the Rosetta as the Masterclock at 44.1K sending SPDIF into the 001 that will be set to 44.1K and sending ADAT out into the Korg 880 that will be set to digital clock also.
Do you think the Korg will work fine getting digital clock at 44.1 and spit out at it´s A/D at 44.1? AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGG!

The Rosetta outputs word clock, so the Korg could slave to it. As to whether the Korg's sample rate will be forced to 44.1 by the Rosetta word clock, I'd get in touch with Korg tech support. The Rosetta only has word clock out, so it has to be the master.

I would try clocking the Digi001 via the Rosetta's S/PDIF, while feeding word clock to the Korg. The Apogee clock should definitely improve the sound of both units. I noticed quite an improvement when I started clocking my 1622 from the Rosetta.

I have a customer that I helped get the Trak2, DigiMax and the 001 to work all together so the Rosetta will do the same thing in this case...
Rosetta indeed only has word clock out..so feed that to the Korg, feed the lightpipe output of the Korg to the 001 and the Spdif from the rosetta to the 001 and indeed clock from the Spdif and all will be fine.
Indeed you will hear a difference in the sound quality from there!
