I had to chuckle a bit when they mention "two free factory tunings" in the specs. I remember calibrating the oscillators a couple times a year, and it was quite a PITA.

I wonder if Keith Emerson & Rick Wakeman have their names on the serial # waiting list yet?

That is excellent news! Bob and I worked together at Kurzweil in the mid-80s: he was chief scientist on a consulting basis, and I was a grunt hardware engineer at the time. Matter of fact, he's the one who talked me into finally joining the IEEE, and sponsored my application for membership. I've always gotten a chuckle out of that...

It is just downright _appropriate_ that he can finally do it up once again as Moog Music. All's right with the world. He is one of the finest people you'll ever meet, and I learned a lot about the MI and pro audio business from working with him. Including "never sell your name...", come to think of it. (;-)
