Thanks for this tip.......it worked! I have an AMD Ryzen. The NX plugins (I use CLA and Abbey Road) used to be in between 18-22 ish CPU usage, now they are about 5 ish. Abbey Road Chambers reverb still uses a really high amount (in the 20-22 ish range), but it is a great sounding plugin. The NX stuff, I always found that to be a bit unusually high, but then again, I just wrote it off as that maybe there was no way for Waves to get it lower than that without really sacrificing audio quality.
Edit: dBx 160 is also lower, when using the stereo version, it is now consistently 4 CPU, instead of 6-7. Also, the graphic GUI popped up automatically as 150 percent, so even the graphics are altered. Reel ADT, BB Tubes and Kramer Tape appear to draw about the same that they did before.
