I use Kirchhoff since itβs release and itβs silicon native for ages.
I used in on my M1 and now on M4.
It works absolutely 100% perfectly on Apple Silicone, assuming you have rosetta 2 installed.
How confident are you that you don't have Rosetta 2 installed?

I also use both the TBTech and the PA versions and both are silicon native for several years, while the PA installer still isnβt.
Logically then, how would you explain the following? Not a rhetorical question - please explain how, according to your paradigm, this can be possible:

To clarify further, I've only used one single installer from Plugin Alliance.
*BEFORE* I installed Rosetta 2... I successfully ran the installation manager, which installed all plugins, including Kirchoff.
All plugins worked then, except for Kirchoff.
I created this thread.
Subsequently I installed Rosetta 2... And then this and only this change then caused Kirchhoff to begin working.

Just read this again:
Unfortunately, you need Rosetta-2 for the installation on Silicone devices. The plugin will run natively on silicone, and the installer will not harm your performance.
Yeah, cool. Read it several times.
It's clear to everyone that the rep's wording and understanding is limited.
What you appear not to appreciate is that NI outsourced their support to Zendesk, after their acquisition by Francisco Partners (private equity firm).
This agent is just copy/pasting stuff from a database they've been given.
The central and irrefutable point is that, contrary to your steadfast denial, PA Kirchhoff doesn't run without Rosetta 2.

Ahahaha! Too funny and predictable. Citing 'Dunning Kruger' is surely the modern version of

Again, tell me how you explain this:

... You cannot, can you?
And
self-evidently what I've written is factual; it's evidenced
by the very existence of this thread. Axiomatically I attempted to install Kirchhoff before I created this thread.
Then the thing that fixed it was installing Rosetta 2 ***after*** running the PA installer *and* Kirchhoff *and* creating this thread.

No need to take my word for this... You can just view the change-log on the PA site (scroll to the bottom and open the drop-down):
https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/p...chhoff-eq.html
You can read for yourself, directly on the PA website that so far only the AAX (Pro-Tools) plugin has been made Silicon native (version 1.6.4). You can see that subsequent updates talk about 'Fixed multiple issues under Rosetta translation environment on macOS'... And perhaps you can ask yourself - why would they even be working on improving Rosetta performance, if it was already native? It wouldn't make any sense at all, would it?... Who would want to run it under Rosetta 2, if it was already native?
