I have two options both in 32 inch. Either 1920x1080 or 2560x1440.

At 5feet/1.5m what do you think would be the easiest on the eyes ? I tend to think 1080p is a better option as in 1440p i suspect that things are going to look too small.. Any thoughts ?

I suspect the different resolutions are due to a different aspect ratio. The 2560x1080 display is likely "ultrawide" (64:27) where as the regular 1440p display is 16:9. This means there's more vertical space on the true 1440p display as it's physically taller but narrower.

It's a matter of personal preference, but I don't like ultrawide for productivity work since there's so little vertical space. Many DAWs have a vertical layout, with the tracks laid out vertically and a mixer or MIDI/audio editor below, so the extra vertical space is useful. Others really like them, though. It means you can keep things like sample browsers, track inspectors etc. open on the side without sacrificing much horizontal space.

Yes, definitely 1440, but, in I would recommend bigger screen size if possible.
Every time I get bigger monitor I am afraid it will be too big, but after a day I realize it's great and I could never go back.
