Does anybody know at what times of the year Toontrack typically does sales?

Pretty much between Black Friday and Jan 1 as far as my experience goes with buying stuff from them.

This year it has been quite often. September, November/December.

Usually good to check BestService when they have sales, as the prices are better.

Yes. They usually have sales around the year. But not like the sale during black-friday and Christmas. Similar discounts but fewer offerings.

There's generally at least one spring sale, a lengthy Summer Sale and Black Friday. But the sales are often limited in scope, product specific.
For example March of 2022, EZKeys, EZKeys Expansions and EZ Mix 2. From about March 2-31.

So it's also a question of whether the sale will match your shopping list.

This is something they just started doing 2 weeks ago to my knowledge. Short weekend sales. This weekend the EZX is Dreampop.

I'm not sure if they will continue with this or maybe it's a marketing test.

In general Toontrack doesn't mess around with never-ending "sales" like Waves, PA or UAD, nor do they rely on sales gimmicks like the aforementioned.

And if they tell you the upgrade deal is now or never...believe them.

ToonTrack has discounts on bundles. Such as purchase three EZBass expansions and get a discount.
I wish they would have some sort of cross product bundle for similarly priced expansions. Such as, purchase any three $89 expansions and get a discount.
