Iโve been using a Titan for 6 or so years without a problem, both on PC and Mac. Have no issue with software or hardware so far and the sound of the converters is really all you could ever need.
I used prism Sound Orpheus under windows for many years and still have it Windows 7.
The only idiot was me at times.
The Orpheus did not give me trouble.
I got a Titan wow! no troubles at all!
Windows 11
My Atlas has not been delivered since I paid for it during the Black Friday 2023 sale. Prism Sound was supposed to dropship it at my address. I wonder if anybody who bought one is still waiting for it to be delivered. Or have you all been enjoying it already? Yes, I bought it from an authorized/authorised Prism Sound dealer.
I heard back from Prism Sound. In my own words: the response to the BF sale was better than they had prepared for and they are waiting for parts. They are shipping them out as fast as they can make them. But they are not able to commit to an ETA. But it should be "soon", in my estimation. And "soon" in my book means sometime in 1Q of 2024.
Also, the AES card is low in priority so it is not likely to be made at all. The Thunderbolt card is high priority and this will see the light of day.

The Thunderbolt card would be very welcome indeed!

FWIWโฆ I had a similar issue with a Titan taking much longer to ship than expected. Agree that a thunderbolt card would be wonderful and consistent in keeping up with other manufacturers offerings and future proofing.

Sorry to hear about the delay but it will be worth the wait.

I ordered a Titan during the BF sale and it shipped immediately. Anyway I hope you get your unit soon, and what options if any will we have to get 8 channels of 96khz out of the Prism and into another interface?
Ok I forgot that very strangely there have been a number of knock off Prism units floating round in the far east.
I find this bizarre as if you were going to the trouble of counterfeiting something you probably go with something mainstream rather than a highly niche, high quality audio interface.
Unless of course you happened to work in the factory assembling them and offered to lock up that evening...
You can now see Prism units in a sexy red colour for the Far east market.
Regarding UFXIII, it is far more versatile and can do many more things and is rock solid. IMHO the Prism just sounds better, BUT unless its delicate acoustic stuff the benefit probably would not be noticed.
I use RME a lot in the day but listen to Prism at night for myself.
didn't both Prism and RME move overseas? If so might be why knockoffs. Like Tesla opens factory over there and now China has the best EVs
