from Expresscard to PCI

Hello .
is there a cheap external converter x laptop expresscard to PCI?
I would like to see if I can use a sound card like the following while maintaining the speed and bandwidth of the expresscard port.

I found the magma one but only the video, there is nothing for sale.

The jimmyauw link doesn't work for me. You'll have to be super-careful about terminology in the world of PCI and PCIe. They are different.

Now if you'd like a ExpressCard to PCIe adapter, then such a thing can be obtained. See first eBay link below.

If you want ExpressCard to PCI (no e) like the Magma video that you linked, and you're willing to DIY/fabricate something, then you could add something as pictured in the second eBay link below.

If you want something professional-looking, then just go USB.

the link you can't see refers to an E-MU 1820m PCI.
I believe that the solution you propose with USB3

it can't work for me because mine is an old E-8310 lifebook laptop it has USB2 PCMIA and expresscard ports
from what I understand, the one recommended by you is a converter that goes from PCIe to PCI via USB3
to make it work I would have to buy two converters, the first one which goes from expresscard to PCIe and the second one which goes from PCIe to PCI via USB3.
Did I get it right or wrong?

You have it right, although the USB cable isn't carrying a USB protocol, it's just convenient spec for twisted pair wiring with shielding.
