I have a Fireface 802 and without my computer, I can play music through my connected speakers, from any desired input signal. My problem is that I cannot control the volume without a computer. I have the RME ARC USB, but this cannot connect directly to the RME 802 as it needs USB to a computer. Is there a remote I could use to control the volume while playing music without a computer?

I am trying to keep my computer off at times and enjoy listening to my vinyl records. It works, but not volume control.

Do any Fireface 802 guys have ideas?

I don't own the 802 but usually RME interfaces fuly support midi control. Enable midi control in the options tab in TotalmixFX.
Just connect a midi controller then.
