Never said anything otherwise, not even remotely, and I am actually a subscriber to the youtube channel. I just don't agree with the "best reverb" opinion video. Comments like yours really put imaginary words into someone's mouth (whether intentionally or not) and try give new meaning to the text quoted, when there simply wasn't anything to read between the lines.
BTW, I don't think anything he showcased on there wasn't a good plugin, I just believe there's better. It also matters what genre and even the sound someone likes. I mean I have always been known as a lexi-s**t, for example. That's the reverb sound I am into, so when the PCM bundle came out, that was it for me, cause I love Lexicon, and when I had hardware effects units, my two verbs were Lexicons. But now I use PT on Mac Silicon, so, things have changed, and even the PC versions, although they work audibly, have GUI issues on high DPI panels.
I knew people that were heavily into the TC sound (I believe in the late 90's and early 2000's they were the main two hardware verbs that people compared, but I could be wrong), and I never liked it and still don't own a TC verb to this day. Reverb is exactly what I said, subjective, in 99% of cases. There are a few that just sound objectively bad and I think all of us would agree on that.
I remember the Lexicon was always the more effect like and the TC was the cleaner room simulator. I do have a use for that sound these days as I learned more about mixing and blending over the years, but if the occasion arises, I use the criminally underrated Sonnox reverb for that task.
