I'm speechless about Apogee that is not taking an official position about this big mess!

I've been investigating the cause of this problem far and wide. I tried all the mentioned processes about drivers, osx updates, firmware, pram reset, smc reset and also apogee official service inspection and tests...

I still suspect (and I really hope) that it's not an hardware problem...

The official distribution assistance service in Italy has no clue and they're saying there are major problems with the circuits of these soundcards due to the amount of complaints.

So again why there is no official explanation about that...

After a couple of years of constant issues with dropouts with the Duet 2, I finally gave up and bought a Babyface Pro. It has been working fine, with no dropouts. It works the way Apogee products once did.
