Hoping for some insight. If I wanted to use multiple VST plugins (mostly arturia v synths) while practicing and performing with my band, what is the best way to do this? I’m using a Komplete S49 and a Hardware synth underneath for additional tones.

Specifically, can I load multiple vst instruments into a daw and then Set a range on the controller where the sounds for each vst would be active? For instance if I need a choir sound but only on three keys…with stings on another octave etc.

Please forgive my ignorance. Kind of new to using outside of home studio.

Sure. Your plan would work. Just record arm all the tracks and use some kind of midi note filter(/transposer too, if necessary) before each synth.
