Trying the demo of DP 11.

Created an Instrument track with Kontakt.How in heaven's name do you open the interface of Kontakt? Says online to go to the Mixing Board (you have to be kidding) and double click the Kontakt insert.

Nope, nothing, just stands there.

OK confused a little by this, what do you mean by "Nope, nothing, just stands there. "? You have a few ways to open an instrument track, in the Tracks window you can click on the instrument track name and it will pop up the instrument GUI, or you can right click the MIDI timeline and it will have an option "show instrument". In the Sequence Editor there is access to instruments and inserts in the track header name etc. And of course you can access VST/AU GUI's in the Mixer.

I'm betting you have a miss named Master audio out though, the name of the main out from your audio card is italicized etc. so the out for Kontakt looks something like Audio out L R when that happens DP will not show instrument GUI's. THe fix there is simple select your audio card outs as the output in the Kontakt track and the GUI will show up.
